Environment Canada is now warning of 10-15 cm of snow.
Snowfall warning in effect for:
Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.
A low pressure system moving southeast across Vancouver Island has spread snow into the southern interior this morning. The snow will continue all day giving accumulations up to 15 cm over elevations just above valley bottom. Accumulations will be 10 cm or less at valley bottom due to temperatures being just above freezing.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
